The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on September 30, 2024, notified regarding the standard on Dyed Knitted or Crochet Fabric Made from Synthetic Fibres as QCO.
The undersigned is directed to say it is a reference for making the BIS Standard viz.. IS 17777: 2021 for Textiles Dyed knitted or crochet fabric made from synthetic fibres mandatory through QCO.
The draft QCO was shared with BIS, and they were asked to provide comments. As a result of the comments received, the draft QCO has been duly revised.
The Department of Commerce is requested to notify the QCO on WTO giving a time limit of 60 days to receive comments.
