The Ministry of Textile (MoT) on October 17, 2024, notified regarding the BIS standard on Viscose Rayon Cut Staple Spun Yarn as QCO.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has issued the Draft Viscose Rayon Cut Staple Spun Yarn (Quality Control) Order, 2024.
• It makes the BIS Standard viz., IS 3566:2023 for Textiles - Viscose Rayon Cut Staple Spun Yarn mandatory through QCO.
• It invites public comments on Draft QCO by November 16, 2024, suggestions may be sent to [email protected] and [email protected] with the subject: "Notifying BIS Standard on Viscose Rayon Cut Staple Spun Yarn as QCO".
