The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 18, 2024, issued the amendment to certain Indian Standards (IS)
The amendment of the following IS has been established on October 08, 2024, namely: -
• IS 175:2023 Sheeting, Tickings and Bedsheets – Specification (Fourth Revision): Amendment No. 1 October 2024
• IS 1969 (Part 1): 2018 ISO 13934-1: 2013 Textiles - Tensile Properties of Fabrics Part 1 Determination of Maximum Force and Elongation at Maximum Force Using the Strip Method (Fourth Revision): Amendment No. 2 October 2024
• IS 3442: 2023 Textiles Method for Determination of Crimp and Linear Density of Yarn Removed from Fabric (Second Revision): Amendment No. 1 October 2024
• IS 3566 : 2023 Textiles – Viscose Rayon Cut: Amendment No. 1 October 2024
The IS shall be in force without the amendment till April 07, 2025.
