The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 17, 2024, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to the Methods for Chemical Analysis of Steels.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be October 15, 2024: -
• IS 228 (Part 2):2024 Methods for Chemical Analysis of Steels Part 2 Determination of Manganese in Plain-Carbon and Low Alloy Steels by Arsenite Method (Fourth Revision).
• IS 228 (Part 3):2024 Methods for Chemical Analysis of Steels Part 3 Determination of Phosphorus by Alkalimetric Method (Fourth Revision).
• IS 1067:2024 Electroplated Coating of Silver for Decorative and Protective Purposes ― Specification (Third Revision).
• IS 2556 (Part 3):2024 Vitreous China Sanitary Appliances — Specification Part 3 Specific Requirements of Squatting Pans (Sixth Revision).
• IS 4991 (Part 1):2024 Criteria for Blast Resistant Design of Structures Part 1 Above-ground Explosions (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be April 15, 2025: -
