Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Goa on October 18, 2024, issued a notification regarding the restrictions on the sale and movement of liquor.

The earlier notifications declared dry days in certain areas of Goa, including Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Orlim, Taluka Salcete. However, following a communication from the Goa State Election Commission dated October 14, 2024, confirming no election will be held in Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Orlim, the restrictions on the sale and movement of liquor in this ward have been lifted.
