Labour ComplianceThe Government of Rajasthan on October 18, 2024, issued a notification regarding a holiday due to the general election.

Chief Electoral Officer, Rajasthan dated October 15, 2024, referring to Election Commission of India Press Note, has notified that bye-election to seven Assembly Constituencies namely 27-Jhunjhunu (Jhunjhunu District), 67-Ramgarh (Alwar District), 88-Dausa (Dausa District), 97-Deoli Uniara (Tonk District), 110-Khinvsar (Nagaur District), 156-Salumbar (ST) (Udaipur District) and 161-Chaurasi (Dungarpur District) will be held on November 13, 2024 (Wednesday).

In this context, under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 read with the Notification dated June 8th, 1957 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the Governor of Rajasthan hereby declares that on the date of polling for the said election i.e. November 13, 2024 (Wednesday), there will be a holiday in the offices located in 27-Jhunjhunu District Jhunjhunu, 67-Ramgarh District Alwar, 88-Dausa District Dausa, 97-Deoli Uniara District Talk, 110-Khinvsar District Nagaur, 156-Salumbar (ST) District Udaipur and 161-Chaurasi District Dungarpur Assembly Constituencies under the Negotiable Instruments Act (NI Act) 1881 so that the voters of those areas can vote.
