Labour Compliance The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJ&E) on October 18, 2024, notified Rights of Persons with Disabilities (Amendment) Rules, 2024 further to amend the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017.

The following has been stated:-

•Rule 17 shall be substituted, namely:-

17. Application for disability certificate and UDID Card.

•Rule 18 shall be substituted, namely: -

18. Issue of disability certificate/UDID Card.

They shall come into force from October 22, 2024.
