Secretarial ComplianceThe Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on October 22, 2024, issued a consultation paper on a Draft circular on recognition as a Specified Digital Platform.

The following has been stated namely: -

• A "specified digital platform" refers to a digital infrastructure recognized by regulatory authorities for facilitating specific financial activities or transactions.

• It is proposed that the digital platform may be recognised as a specified digital platform if it demonstrates preventive and curative measures.

The comments/ suggestions on the proposals mentioned in the Draft Circular shall be submitted by November 12, 2024, through the following link: https://www.sebi.gov.in/sebiweb/publiccommentv2/PublicCommentAction.do?doPublicComments=yes
