EHS ComplianceThe Ministry of Defence, (MoD) on October 23, 2024, issued a notification to implement preventive measures in view of Cyclone Dana’s likely landfall along West Bengal & Odisha coasts.

As Cyclone Dana is expected to make landfall on October 24-25, 2024, along the coasts of West Bengal and Odisha, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Region (North-East) has initiated preventive measures to safeguard lives and property at sea. ICG is closely monitoring the situation, broadcasting weather warnings and safety advisories to fishermen and mariners, urging them to return to shore. Vessels and aircraft have been strategically positioned to respond to emergencies, while ICG personnel coordinate with local authorities for a unified response. Fishing communities have been advised to stay off the sea, and disaster relief teams are on high alert, ready for rescue and relief operations.
