The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on October 23, 2024, issued a draft revision to Civil Aviation Requirements Section 9 – Airspace And Air Navigation Services Standards Series 'G', Part I Issue III.
The following has been stated: -
•Article 28 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation mandates collaboration among states for publishing aeronautical maps and charts according to established standards.
•The International Civil Aviation Organization, under Article 37, sets and updates these standards in Annex 4.
•This CAR is issued under Rule 29C and Rule 133A of the Aircraft Rules, 1937, to ensure compliance with these requirements.
•Comments are invited by November 22, 2024, on Draft Revision to CAR.
