The Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) on October 22, 2024, issued the notification regarding the clarification regarding the processing fee for Consent to Establish/Operate.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The industries in the bracket amount of 5000 crores and above shall be given consent on year to year basis till the matter regarding their consent fee is decided at CPCB/PPCB level.
• In case, the industries still insist for long term consent, an undertaking be obtained from such industries to deposit consent fee as per revised rates from the date of notification by the CPCB/PPCB and the industries have to pay the arrears accordingly.
