Finance & Taxation Compliance The Government of Meghalaya on October 23, 2024, notified regarding the revision in the rate of tax of Diesel oil and other internal combustion oils.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The revised rate of tax on Diesel oil and other internal combustion oils is 5% or Rs. 9.50/- per litre whichever is higher and the pollution surcharge of 10 paise per litre.

• It shall come into effect from 00.00 hrs of October 24, 2024.
