The Government of Goa on October 24, 2024, issued a notification regarding the holiday for calendar year 2025.
Public Holidays (Annexure-I) and Special Holidays (Annexure-II) for 2025, with government offices remaining open on Special Holidays unless they fall on a weekend. Additionally, employees may choose two days from the Restricted Holidays list (Annexure-III) for leave in 2025. Commercial and Industrial Holidays for workers (Annexure-IV) have also been designated. Moreover, as per the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881, the Government has specified Bank Holidays for 2025 in Annexure-V.
