The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on October 25, 2024, issued a circular regarding periodic reporting format for Research Analysts and Proxy Advisers.
The following has been stated: -
•SEBI has mandated a standardized periodic reporting format for Research Analysts (RAs) and Proxy Advisers (PAs) under the RA Regulations, effective immediately. RAs must submit reports to BSE Limited (RAASB) and PAs to SEBI within 30 days after each half-yearly period ending March 31 and September 30, starting April 30, 2025.
•This initiative aims to enhance oversight and protect investor interests in the securities market.
