Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Goa on October 24, 2024, issued the Goa Erection of Shacks on Public Beaches (Regulation and Control) Act, 2024.

The following has been stated namely: -

• This shall be applicable to the whole of the State of Goa

• The application and Operational Regulations has been stated in the Act

• The Dismantling of Shack and Penalty for violation has been stated in Chapter III in the Act.

• The Goa Erection of Shacks on Public Beaches (Regulation and Control) Ordinance, 2024 is hereby repealed.

This shall come into force on March 15, 2024
