The Government of Haryana on September 06, 2024, issued a paid holiday on account of poll day.
The following has been stated:
• It has exempted all the adult workers working in the factories situated in the State of Haryana who are the voters in General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Haryana which is to be held on October 05, 2024 from the operations for the week commencing from October 06, 2024 and ending October 12, 2024, subject to the condition that no adult worker who is enrolled as voter in aforesaid General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Haryana shall be required or allowed to work on October 05, 2024 (Saturday) in the factories of the state of Haryana.
