Labour ComplianceThe Government of Puducherry on October 28, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Holiday on October 30, 2024.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Holiday is declared in the Public Sector Undertakings, Educational Institutions (including professional colleges) in the Karaikaf and Yanam regions of Union Territory of Puducherry on account of Deepavali Eve.

• November 16, 2024 will be a compensatory working day in lieu of the above leave.
