The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on October 30, 2024, issued a circular regarding the amendment to the ‘Framework for Aircraft Lease’ with regard to transactions with person (s) resident in India.
The following has been stated: -
•The Authority has amended the 'Framework for Aircraft Lease' by adding a new clause (O.2) regarding transactions with persons resident in India.
•This amendment is part of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (Finance Company) Regulations, 2021.
•The updated framework is available on the IFSCA website and is effective immediately.
