The following has been stated: -
•The notification outlines the licensing process for opium poppy cultivation, allowing eligible cultivators to license 0.10 hectares for producing Poppy Straw without juice extraction.
•Eligibility includes meeting yield requirements and compliance with regulations.
•Licenses will be valid for five crop years unless violations occur.
•Key conditions include maintaining specified yield levels and allowing research access to fields.
