The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAFPD) on October 30, 2024, issued the notification regarding the white/refined sugar stock tentatively to be held till November 30, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Every producer of sugar by vacuum pan process, shall hold white/refined sugar stock tentatively till November 30, 2024, until further order,
• The Opening stock as on November 01, 2024 Plus (+) Production during the month of November, 2024 till November 30, 2024 minus (-) quantity not exceeding the figures below against respective sugar mill as mention within the table inserted in the notification.
Please refer to the notification for the table on the Plant Name, Notional Stock on October 31, 2024, Release Quota as per Notional Stock, and Maximum quantity of white/refined sugar for domestic sale and dispatch during the month of November, 2024.
