Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Uttar Pradesh on October 14, 2024, issued the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities (Eighth Amendment) Ordinance, 2024, to further amend the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In Schedule 2, after serial no. 45, a new entry, “serial no. 46,” shall be inserted. It states the addition of Vidya University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, sponsored by Vidya Bal Mandli Society, Vidya Knowledge Park, Baghpat Road, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
