Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Andhra Pradesh on October 30, 2024, issued amendment to Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Rules, 1964.

The following amendment has been stated:

• For the existing item (5) specified under Rule 5, which states “Subject-matter of bye-laws”, the following shall be substituted, namely:

"(5) the payment, if any, to be made or the interest to be acquired as a condition for exercising the right of membership and also Know Your Customer details with documents thereof like Aadhar;"
