The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on November 01, 2024, issued the Draft Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2024, to further amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In Schedule 1 - Standards for Emission or Discharge of Environmental Pollutants, in place of the serial number 36 – “ALUMINIUM PLANTS”, and the entries relating thereto shall be substituted.
Objections or suggestions on the draft rules may be sent to the Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, Jor Bagh Road, New Delhi-110003, or e-mail at [email protected] and [email protected] by December 31, 2024.
