The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on November 01, 2024, issued a Consultation paper on the review of SEBI (Issue and Listing of Securitised Debt Instruments and Security Receipts) Regulations, 2008.
The following are the propositions for public consultation:
• Amendments relating to the form and nature of SDIs, ticket size, meaning of debt etc.
• Amendments relating to structural elements of the securitisation transaction.
• Amendments relating to trustees
• Amendments relating to disclosure requirements
• Revisions to legislative references
• Amendments to SEBI LODR
Considering the implications of the aforementioned matters on the market participants, public comments are invited on the proposals. The comments/ suggestions should be submitted through the following mode latest by November 16, 2024:-
