The Government of Goa on October 30, 2024, issued a notification regarding the fixation of the date for payment of tax.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government has notified the dates by which registered persons must make payments for taxes specified in notices, statements, or orders under Section 128A of the Goa GST Act.
•Registered persons who have received such notices or orders must make payments by March 31, 2025.
•For those with notices issued under Section 74, payment is required within six months from the date of the order redetermining the tax under Section 73 of the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
This notification shall come into effect from November 01, 2024.
