Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on November 01, 2024, issued the notification regarding the tracts in certain states within which poppy may be cultivated.

The following has been stated namely: -

• This is during the opium crop year commencing on October 01, 2024 and ending on the September 30, 2025.

• The tracts in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand have been specified.

• The Table with the Designation of Tracts have been stated in the notification.
