The Government of Uttar Pradesh on October 28, 2024, issued a notification regarding the promotion of the Uttar Pradesh Energy Policy for the financial year 2024-25.
The following has been stated: -
•The notification outlines the approval for the third installment of Rs. 75 lakh for the promotion of the Uttar Pradesh Energy Policy in FY 2024-25. UPNEDA is required to ensure timely utilization of the funds by March 31, 2025, with regular progress reports submitted to the Planning and Additional Energy Sources Departments.
•The expenditure must comply with government austerity rules, and a utility certificate is mandatory. The release is contingent on meeting formalities, and any financial irregularities will be the responsibility of UPNEDA.
