The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on November 08, 2024, notified Danapur Cantonment Board Solid Waste Management Bye-laws, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 specifies that these bye-laws shall be applicable within the territorial limits of the Danapur Cantonment.
•Rule 3 lays down various definitions of the terms like bulk waste generator and construction and demolition waste.
•Rule 4 specifies Segregation and storage of solid waste at source.
•Rule 5 specifies the Collection of solid waste.
They shall come into force on November 08, 2024.
