The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) on November 07, 2024, issued the Draft Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (Fee) Regulations, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Every petition, application, complaint shall be made to the Commission along with payment of stipulated fee specified in these Regulations. Several persons having similar but separate and distinct interest or cause of action in the matter of controversy or dispute involving common questions of law and facts may file a common petition but each Petitioner shall pay separate fee as specified in these Regulations.
• The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (Fee) Regulations,2016 shall be repealed.
• Objections/suggestions/views on the proposed new draft Regulations may be sent within fifteen (15) days from November 07, 2024 to the Secretary, Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission.
