The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on November 11, 2024, notified regarding the urgent compliance with TRAI Direction related to the measures to curb misuse of Headers and Content Templates.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It informs that TRAI has mandated the registration of Sender-Telemarketer chains to improve traceability and curb spam calls/SMS and the deadline for registration was October 31, 2024. It extends the said deadline to November 30, 2024.
• It further states that starting from December 01, 2024, messages with undefined or mismatched chains will be rejected.
