The Government of Goa on November 14, 2024, issued the Infrastructure Development Scheme for Dairy Co-operatives.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Goa has approved the Infrastructure Development Scheme for Dairy Co-operatives, providing financial assistance to strengthen the development and functioning of Dairy Co-operative Societies.
•The scheme offers grants and subsidies for administrative expenses, infrastructure development, and managerial support.
•It aims to boost local milk production, reduce dependency on imports, and ensure economic viability for village co-operatives.
•The scheme targets creating better infrastructure and stability for Dairy Co-operatives to support dairy farmers and supply milk to the public.
