The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), on November 11, 2024, issued a Master Circular for Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements.
The following has been stated-
SEBI has issued an updated Master Circular on the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, incorporating all relevant circulars issued on or before September 30, 2024. This new Master Circular supersedes the previous one dated June 21, 2023, and provides a consolidated, chapter-wise framework for compliance under ICDR Regulations. It includes footnotes linking to respective circulars for easy reference.
While the older circulars are rescinded, actions taken under them before this update remain valid. SEBI has directed stock exchanges, depositories, and listed or prospective listed entities to implement and comply with the requirements outlined in this updated Master Circular, ensuring necessary system adjustments and notifying stakeholders as needed.
