The UT Administrator of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu on November 08, 2024, notified regarding the restriction on the sale of liquor on or before the polling day.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that in view of the General Elections to Legislative Assemblies of Maharashtra, 2024, it is directed to all the Liquor Manufacturing Establishments/Distilleries/Breweries and all the Wine Shops, Bar and Restaurants, Hotels Selling/Serving liquor, etc. throughout the District of Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall remain closed on November 18, 2024 (from 6.00 PM onwards), on November 19, 2024, and on November 20, 2024, (upto 6.00 PM).
