The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh on November 14, 2024, issued an addendum to an older notification related to the Ladakh Homestay Policy, 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•The addendum to the Ladakh Homestay Policy 2023 outlines the criteria for selecting homestay beneficiaries. Priority is given to households with no employed members, ex-Agniveers, ex-servicemen, women self-help groups, and new entrepreneurs.
•Existing tourism or hospitality businesses are excluded from the incentives. Other terms of the policy remain unchanged.
