The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on November 14, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Extension of timeline for registration of Unregistered Entities providing M2M services and/or WLAN/WPAN connectivity for M2M Services
The following has been stated namely: -
• The timeline further for registration of entities currently providing M2M Services and/or WPAN/WLAN Connectivity for M2M Services has been extended up to January 15, 2025.
• Authorized Telecom Licensee(s) are hereby directed to suspend the services of M2M SIMs for M2M Services/Connectivity, issued to the unregistered entities post January 15, 2025.
• The services may be resumed after the unregistered entities submit the Registration Certificate.
• Licensee(s) shall also share the contact details (e-mail ID and Contact No.) of the unregistered entities, with DoT (at [email protected]) within 7 days from November 14, 2024.
