The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on November 13, 2024, issued a notification regarding the introduction of NPS Contributions via Bharat Connect for Seamless Retirement Planning.
The following has been stated: -
•The NPS contributions via the BHIM app, will allow users to easily contribute to their pension accounts using just their registered mobile number.
•The integration, powered by Bharat Connect, ensures secure and timely processing of contributions. This feature aims to simplify retirement planning and promote financial inclusion.
•The initiative is expected to drive further adoption of NPS across India.
