Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) on November 14, 2024 issued the Central Motor Vehicles (Eleventh Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In rule 62 which states “Validity of certificate of fitness” in sub-rule (1) (b) the following has been substituted namely: -

For the word, letters and figures ‘01st October 2024’, the word, letters and figures ‘01st April 2025 shall be substituted.

The following shall come into force on November 14, 2024.
