The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on November 19, 2024, issued a circular regarding the commencement of Trading in Crude Oil Mini February 2025 Option Contract with Crude Oil Mini (10 Barrels) Futures as underlying.
The following has been stated: -
•The Crude Oil Mini Option 17 February 2025 contract will be available for trading from November 20, 2024.
•The contract specifications and settlement procedures are outlined in Circular No. MCX/TRD/703/2024. Key dates include the option expiry on February 17, 2025, and the devolvement of positions into futures starting February 18, 2025. Members should refer to MCXCCL circulars for margin updates.
