The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on November 14, 2024, issued the date of establishment and withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The following IS have been established on October 28, 2024 namely: -
• IS 13560 : 2024 Textiles — Drum Pulleys/Tr Pulleys used in Ring Spinning and Doubling Frames — Specification (First Revision)
• IS 17929 (Part 4) : 2024 ISO 18692-4 : 2023 Textiles — Fibre Ropes for Offshore Station Keeping Part 4 Polyarylate
• IS 18884 : 2024 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for River Valley and Hydroelectric Projects — Guidelines
The following IS has been withdrawn on April 28, 2025 namely: -
• IS 13560 : 1992 Textile Machinery and Accessories — Drum Pulleys used in Ring Spinning and Doubing Frames — Specification
• IS 15845 : 2009 Environment Management Plan for Hydropower/Irrigation/ Flood Control/Multipurpose River Valley Projects
