The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) on November 20, 2024, issued a notice inviting applications from Third-Party Meter Testing Laboratories for Empanelment.
The following has been stated: -
•The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has notified regulations for third-party testing of electricity meters under the Supply Code and Performance Standards Regulations, 2017.
•Applications have been invited from NABL-accredited laboratories for empanelment, which will be valid for two years or until the NABL certification expires.
•Laboratories outside Delhi must establish a presence in the area within 60 days of approval. Applications must be submitted to the DERC by December 10, 2024.
