Finance & Taxation Compliance The Finance Department, Govt. of Karnataka on November 16, 2024, notified regarding the empowerment of the GST Appellate Tribunal to Examine Input Tax Credits and Price Reductions in Karnataka.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It empowers the Principal Bench of the Appellate Tribunal to assess if input tax credits or tax rate reductions have led to proportional price reductions for goods or services.

• This shall come into force from October 01, 2024.
