The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on November 14, 2024, denied the rumours about reduction in the syllabus of Class 10 and 12 by 15% and conducting open book examination in selected subjects under Board Examination 2025.
The following has been stated:
• It has stated that the Central Board of Secondary Education has not made any such change in its examination system and internal assessment system nor has any official information been issued in this regard. Hence the above news is denied by the Board.
• It has further stated that no such policy decision has been taken by the board. Any information regarding policy changes by the board is released through the official website of the board and circulars.
• The general public is hereby advised to avoid such misleading news and to visit the Board website https://www.cbse.gov.in/ for updated information and verification of Board related information.
