The Government of Tamil Nadu on November 22, 2024, issued a list of Public Holidays for the State Government Offices and all Commercial Banks including Co-operative Banks in Tamil Nadu for the year 2025.
The following has been stated:
• The Holidays declared under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 indicated in the notification appended to this order will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
• The Government direct that all the offices under the control of the Government of Tamil Nadu be closed on:-
(a) The dates specified in the notification appended to this order (except the Annual Closing of Bank Accounts on 01.04.2025).
(b) All Saturdays and Sundays in the year 2025.
The above-notified Public Holidays shall also apply to all State Government Undertakings / Corporations / Boards, etc.
