The Government of Uttar Pradesh on October 15, 2024, issued a notification regarding variable dearness allowance for workers in vacuum pan sugar mills.
The following has been stated: -
•As per Government Notification-1305/36-2-2022-8/2004-TC dated June 29, 2022, workers in vacuum pan sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh will receive a variable dearness allowance based on the average of the All India Consumer Price Index for May, June, and July 2024.
•The index points for these months are 9196.81, 9295.41, and 9380.85, with an average of 9291 points. This dearness allowance, based on 9291 points, will be effective from October 01, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
