The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on November 20, 2024, issued an extension of the timeline for filing of quarterly and annual returns till December 31, 2024, under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2022 (EPR for Waste Tyre).
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the deadline for filing quarterly and annual returns has been extended to December 31, 2024, for FY 2023-24.
• It states that during the period of extension, EPR Certificate generation and transfer shall also be carried out on the EPR portal.
