The Ministry of Textiles on November 22, 2024, issued a notification regarding the fixation of the maximum ex-factory price for the 580gm Type-A & Type-B Jute Bags.
The following has been stated: -
•The Jute Commissioner has fixed the maximum ex-factory prices for 580gm 'Type-A' and 'Type-B' B-Twill Sacking Jute Bags for November 2024.
•The prices are Rs. 102,774 per MT with 10% linkage and Rs. 101,888 per MT without linkage, or Rs. 5,960.88 and Rs. 5,909.49 per 100 bags, respectively.
•Bags must comply with BIS Specification IS: 16186:2014, with required markings and strength standards. GST is additional to the fixed prices.
