The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on November 25, 2024, issued a notification regarding the fixation of the retail price of Sitagliptin phosphate monohydrate IP eq. to Sitagliptin 100 mg + Pioglitazone Hydrochloride IP eq. to Pioglitazone 15 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride IP (As sustained release form) 1000 mg.
The following has been stated: -
•For each Film-coated tablet contains: Sitagliptin phosphate monohydrate IP eq. to Sitagliptin 100 mg + Pioglitazone Hydrochloride IP eq. to Pioglitazone 15 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride IP (As sustained release form) 1000 mg for M/s Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd (Manufacturer) and M/s Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Marketer) the retail price is 15.43.
