The Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCX) on November 22, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Procedure for deposit and storage of Cotton Bales at MCXCCL Accredited Warehouses.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Members/Participants who desire to deposit Cotton Bales at the MCXCCL Accredited Warehouses (“MAW”) for delivery on Exchange platform are advised to adhere to this circular.
• This circular includes all additional points as issued by MCXCCL from time to time.
• The following has been stated namely: -
o Weighment of goods at MAW at the time of deposit – Revision in weighment procedure at the time of deposit of goods as given in clause A. b. of Annexure 1
o Delivery Units – Revision in Delivery Unit as given in Clause D of Annexure 1
o Standard Deduction – Revision in standard deduction as given in clause F of Annexure 1.
o Entitled weight – Discontinued with clause G- Entitled weight given in previous circular.
o Sampling and Testing process – Revision in the Sampling and Testing process at the time of deposit of goods as given in clause no G of Annexure 1.
