Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on November 25, 2024, issued a circular regarding the submission of ATR on Impersonation and Unauthorized Market Practices.

The following has been stated: -

•The Exchange has reminded trading members to monitor and address impersonation and unauthorized market practices, as outlined in NSE circular NSE/INSP/61754 (April 25, 2024). 

•Members must take steps such as filing police complaints, issuing public notices, and informing clients about fraudulent activities. 

•Action details can now be submitted via the member portal, replacing the previous email submission process. 

•The Exchange is also publishing a list of fake links and applications to raise investor awareness.
