Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on November 26, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Discontinuation of the EMDI Market Data stream.

BSE announced plans to discontinue its EMDI market data stream, currently providing top 5 price points (tick-by-tick) data, across all segments. This move is part of a broader effort to consolidate the various market data streams offered to trading members, including NFCAST, MDI, EMDI, and EOBI.

The discontinuation of the EMDI stream will occur in phases, beginning with Equity Derivatives, followed by the Equity segment, Currency Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, and EGR segment. The exact timelines for each segment will be announced through subsequent circulars.

Trading members are advised to adapt to this change by transitioning to alternative market data streams based on their business requirements.
